Dr. Jorge Mario Rodríguez G. studied medicine at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellín, Colombia. He later completed a specialization in plastic, reconstructive, maxillofacial and hand surgery at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada in Bogota. He has a Master’s degree in Reconstructive Microsurgery from the European School of Microsurgery and from Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, and a subspecialty in facial aesthetic surgery from the MACS-Lift Center, Coupure Centrum for Plastic Surgery in Belgium.
Throughout his medical career, Dr. Rodriguez has worked with international humanitarian missions and well-known programs such as See and Smile (cleft lip and cleft palate reconstruction brigades for children in Burma), Operation Smile and Colombian State-implemented: Mision plan Fronteras on the Colombian-Venezuelan border where he worked on reconstructive plastic surgery in border communities.
